Detroit Auto Show Part II
OTHER NEWS ‘TO LOOK AT
Porsche 911 GTS Targa
She’s just the last one we’ve been waiting for, in the class of Porsches designed and created to satisfy the more intimate driving pleasure. Here we go with the GTS version, which after putting all the badges and improvements in all the other models of the house, now wears the elegant dress of the Targa version. 430 hp for an ultimate driving experience. Money well spent.
Infiniti Q60 Concept
The coupe, presented in Detroit by the Japanese carmaker, points to the future without compromise. After admiring the Q80 Inspiration at the Paris Auto show, we hope that this more realistic evolution, may have the approval of the heads of the brand and see the green light for production.
Mini JCW
The most insane and powerful Mini ever produced; here is the new John Cooper Works. Rumors confirm that this step will also be available for the bulkier Paceman, but for now we wait to get our hands on this bowler with 231 horses. Not only more power, but the promise of an even better handling packaged to the unmistakable and unique one that Mini has always offered to its customers.
Volvo XC90 R-Design
The Swedish company has presented three different models that can meet the needs of each client. Like the S60 Inscription or Cross Country, and especially the new XC90 R-Design. Dwelling on the latter, we appreciate a more massive design than before. The SUV, which will arrive very soon in showrooms around the globe, will offer a complete and refined trim, which ranks as a good alternative for those who want something less obvious down the streets.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S
They say that “sky is the limit”, but after driving the Cayenne, in both Turbo and GTS spec, we thought they could not get more out of Stuttgart’s SUV. And instead, in 2016, we will climb aboard the most exasperated and powerful version of them all: the Turbo S. The 4.8 V8 biturbo will have 570 horses and not only claims supercar’s performance (0-100 kph in just 3.8 seconds), but driving skills that will have nothing to envy to pure sport cars. Who knows what they will invent next time, for doing better.
