III° Ferrari Meeting A Castelnuovo Belbo
On Sunday, September 27th we have attended the successful 3rd Ferrari meeting in Castelnuovo Belbo (AT – Italy). At around 10.00 am, as scheduled, 24 Ferrari, 1 Maserati and a Dodge Viper arrived, mostly from the province of Turin. Deputy Mayor Aldo Allineri has provided participants with an excellent organization, thanks to the beautiful locations chosen for this day dedicated to the cars from Maranello. After a pleasant drive across the hills, which last year became Unesco’s heritage, the “red” convoy reached the Cantina Pico Maccario in Mombaruzzo. The owner Vitaliano Maccario and the oenologist then led the Ferrari drivers inside the cellars, also having the opportunity for a coffee break at the winery dedicated to the aging of wine in oak barrels.
Second stage in Bergamasco (AL) for a “pit stop” with aperitif offered by the municipality. Keep going on the hills, since arriving at the “23 Quarter Horses”, the place chosen for lunch; for the occasion a 1 meter x 70 cm mega cake with handmade Ferrari logos was served.
After lunch special prizes for the day awarded as follows:
The most powerful Ferrari award went to Angelo Borrella and his 490hp F430 F1. Honorable mention was given to Davide Civardi for his frightening 700hp Dodge Viper.
In addition, honors to the participant came from farther away, Terzolo Luciano from Corio (TO), but also for the “oldest” car (owned by Diana Enzo), the ever-present driver (Giovanni Santinato), the “oldest” driver (Enzo Canuto) and the youngest team (Giuseppe Gilardi and his wife Patricia).
